From Vestavia Hills, take US-31 South (Montgomery Highway) until it meets I-459, then get on I-459 South. Take Exit 10, follow AL-150 for a short stretch, and turn right on Stadium Trace Parkway. You will see the Hoover Met first, and Knox Square is across from it on Elsie Road. It is about 10 miles door to door.
Families in Liberty Park or along Cahaba Heights may find I-459 from the US-280 side quicker. Either way, you end up at the same exit.
